Emergency Preparedness

Rapidly deployed, high-bandwidth SATCOM and wireless networks for command and control at incident sites

After a natural or man-made disaster, you need to establish interoperable, high-bandwidth command and control – no matter how damaged the infrastructure or how remote or extreme the environment. DataPath designs, builds and services robust, mobile satellite and wireless network solutions that can go anywhere you need them.

We deployed SATCOM terminals with the U.S. Army National Guard and federal, state and local agencies for Hurricane Katrina. And, our SWE-DISH satellite systems were used in support of disaster relief efforts in Southeast Asia after the tsunami in 2004. Now, we are the prime contractor and systems provider for the National Guard’s Joint Incident Site Communications Capability (JISCC) program that provides nationwide incident site command and control capabilities.

We offer completely customized solutions with features such as those of the JISCC trailers or the DataPath Broadband On-the-Move SATCOM System (BOSS). These solutions integrate IP-based SATCOM, wireless, cellular, land mobile radio, telephony, video teleconferencing (VTC) applications and much more.

Or, we can supply specific products for your disaster response needs, such as our integrated DataPath/QUALCOMM satellite/cellular trailer, ultra-portable SWE-DISH Suitcase®, fly-away SATCOM, wireless systems and more.
