Clay J. Stanek

Vice President and General Manager, MaxView Software Solutions


As vice president and general manager of DataPath’s Software Business Unit, Clay Stanek is responsible for expanding offerings to provide network control systems to the communications industry and beyond, including sensor integration, predictive capabilities and data fusion to enhance overall network functionality. Dr. Stanek brings to DataPath a broad background that includes entrepreneurial ventures, several patents, software development and work as a chief scientist. From February 2005 to November 2005, Dr. Stanek served as vice president and chief technology officer for TraderTrainer, Inc., a software company he co-founded and that focused on Web trading applications. From February 2000 to September 2005, he was the chief scientist at ANZUS Corp., a provider of commercial and military wireless datalink communications and sensor fusion software. Prior to those positions, Dr. Stanek focused on characterization of devices including micro-electrical mechanical systems (MEMS) for Mission Research Corp (now Alliant Techsystems Inc.) and infrared modeling and simulation for Technology Service Corp. He has authored numerous papers for The International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE) and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), among others.
